Dr Chong offers consultations in three languages, ensuring patients from Chinese-speaking and Malay-speaking backgrounds receive the same quality of care and communication as any other patient.

Mandarin (普通话 / 国语)
Dr Chong is fluent in Mandarin and can conduct a full medical consultation — history-taking, examination findings, diagnosis, and treatment plan — entirely in Mandarin. This is particularly valuable for:
- Elderly patients more comfortable communicating in Mandarin
- Patients who find medical terminology easier to understand in their first language
- Family members or carers who accompany patients and need interpretation
Malay (Bahasa Melayu)
Full consultations available in Malay at all clinic locations.

Multilingual consultations are available at every clinic where Dr Chong consults — including Knox General Practice, Medi Weight Loss, and all bariatric surgery centres. There is no additional fee for a consultation in Mandarin or Malay.
